Olive Oils from Spain, the promotional brand of the Spanish Olive Oil Interprofessional, in collaboration with the European Union, and guest of honor, Seamus Mullen, celebrity chef and wellness expert, kicked off their Miami launch of “The Olive Oil World Tour” at the Delano South Beach on Wednesday, October 3rd. The Olive Oil World Tour is the brand’s three-year marketing campaign urging international travelers and cooking enthusiasts to join the Mediterranean diet and European healthy lifestyle. At the invitation-only soiree, Olive Oils from Spain joined Seamus, Spanish dignitaries and local media to unveil launch details.

And don’t forget about gift baskets for the hosts.
• JUICY WHITE MEAT- Who needs to roast the whole turkey when you can just bake the best part? The turkey breasts and legs cook at very different rates, which means that one will not be properly cooked. Instead, focus on cooking the turkey breast perfectly, roasting it at just the right temperature and saving a lot of time in the process.
• FRESH & FAST- It’s chilly out which makes us gravitate towards creamy, cheesy, heavy dishes. Want a little balance? Make your favorite potato casserole but off-set it with a delicious & easy arugula-pomegranate salad or butternut squash and ricotta crostini. Fresh dishes are usually the fastest to prepare!
Cooking skills aren’t enough to win in Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen – in this new competition series, chefs must also be crafty, clever and willing to sabotage their opponents. Led by Alton Brown as the kitchen’s cunning provocateur, this game features a briefcase filled with $100,000 in cash, four competitors, three rounds of cooking and auctions where chefs bid on items to help themselves or hinder their opponents. Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine, host of Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible, announced today that he is teaming up with Tropicana Las Vegas to open his first signature restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. At the press conference, the exterior of the Tropicana Las Vegas came to life, where a high-energy video showed the crowd what they can expect to see from the newest chef in town. In true Robert Irvine fashion, the celebrity chef made his entrance by rappelling 22 stories (220 feet) down the exterior of the Tropicana hotel to the assembled press below.
In introducing Chef Irvine, Bob Sheldon, President of Las Vegas Operations for Tropicana’s parent company, Penn National Gaming, said, “Chef Robert Irvine has tackled some of the toughest culinary challenges around the world, and we’re excited to have him take on Las Vegas, right here at the Tropicana.
